MADE IN THE USAThe PowerFilm F16-6000 is a new addition to the PowerFilm family of foldable solar chargers. It's lightweight and very portable and produces plenty of power for most uses, such as emergencies, power outages, camping, picnics, field work, DC refrigeration, recharging batteries, RVing, off road trips, etc. Unlike “CIGS” solar technology, there is no need for “sun-soaking” the panel for optimum performance after periods of storage – so PowerFilm solar provides critical power immediately. Best uses and suggested accessories: - 12V battery charging (recommended with a solar charge controller like the CC12V-10)
- Remote power – HAM Radio, water purification, photography, power tools
- DC electric coolers and refrigerator/freezers
- Laptop PC – recommend use of a battery in place of direct charging. California PC has several available that we have in stock and can recommend.

How the charger works:
- Place the charger solar-side up in the sun.
- Connect your device to the charger using a male 12V CLA and the included female 12V CLA.
- Optionally, the charger can be connected directly to a 12V battery for battery charging and power storage.
- Note – unlike the USB+AA and AA solar chargers there is no storage mechanism, meaning the charger will only produce DC power while in the sun.
- We have some great external battery packs available that charge nicely from the FM16-7200 from EcoFlow, Goal Zero, and inergy. We can make custom charging cables onsite to work with many different battery / power packs for energy storage.
